Immerse yourself in the trails that cross the Geopark of the Basque Coast, let yourself be carried away by the remains of thousands of years ago, to discover the best-preserved treasures in the world; be captured by the Basque architecture; the perfect experience for hiking, nature, geology and culture lovers.

DAY 1:

On the first day, we will live the "ONGI ETORRI" experience: a txakoli and a "gilda" to live the essence of our people. From the earth to the table. More than a greeting, it is to open our hearts to outsiders. In the afternoon, we will enjoy Zumaia and live the experience of an afternoon of regattas, which you will be able to see on TV in all the bars and you can bet for the different teams.

DAY 2:

This day we will walk the route "The Hidden Valley" of Olatz, a surprising valley surrounded by pyramid-shaped mountains. It is an easy route of 6.5 km. Picnic lunch. Transfer to Mutriku and visit the Nautilus Geological Interpretation Centre. We cannot finish the day without enjoying the port of Mutriku, its natural pools and its "chiringuito" (beach bar). Free time and transfer to Zumaia.

DAY 3:

This day we will meet at the Algorri Interpretation Centre to live the most unique geological experience. We will walk along the cliffs and finish with a boat trip. Afterwards, time for lunch in Zumaia (recommended restaurants, pintxos, etc). In the afternoon, we will have free time to get to know Zumaia and enjoy the sunset on Itzurun beach.

DAY 4:

On the fourth day we will do a route called GR-121 or "vuelta a Gipuzkoa", which is part of the path that runs from Hondarribia to Saturraran beach in Mutriku. The route crosses the old watchtowers of the Basque whalers in the 16th century. Distance: 13.6 kms.

Afterwards, we will have free time for lunch in Deba. In the afternoon we will go to the port to take the guided boat from Deba to Zumaia.

DAY 5:

This last day will be the day to say "laster arte" (see you soon in Basque). One of our best-kept treasures is our culture. Before leaving, we recommend that you request an optional personalised visit on "The enigma of the Basque language".
