A magical day that will allow us to enjoy one of our jewels, Albaola, The Basque Maritime Factory where we will discover the artisan method of building the replica of the Saint John's Galleon, an iconic 16th century whaler, a reflection of the splendour and world hegemony of the Basque maritime industry sunk off the coast of Canada, in Red Bay in 1565.
Did you know that Basque sailors did not die of scurvy because their barrels carried cider instead of water?
A journey through history, a treasure to be discovered, a magical place to be discovered. Stories of sailors and cider, but above all, the story of our ancestors and their exploits, the story about the sea, and about the great deeds of Basque sailors. Customers can't even imagine what they will find once inside. Besides combining with the visit of Pasai San Juan from its narrow streets they can smell the sea and much more history.

NOTE: A JEWEL TO RECOMMEND. (All customers who make the experience with Albaola are amazed at this little jewel we have. They are building by HAND a replica of a 16th century galleon but the most important thing is that in Newfoundland this galleon is sunk and it is the only monument sponsored by UNESCO under the sea).
